PM TAKES TEMPORARY CHARGE OF

MINISTRY OF NATIONAL SECURITY:

Prime Minister Bruce Golding has taken temporary responsibility for the Ministry of National Security following last night's hospitalization of Minister Dwight Nelson.

At a post cabinet press briefing this morning (Oct 7) it was announced that Minister Nelson had been hospitalized last night following   complaints of severe abdominal pains.

Minister with responsibility for Information, Daryl Vaz, told the post cabinet press briefing that Minister Nelson has been undergoing tests since this morning after complaints of severe abdominal pains.

Mr. Vaz said that the country will be kept abreast of any developments in relation to Minister's Nelson's health. On behalf of the government, Mr. Vaz wished Mr. Nelson a speedy recovery.
