PM Golding establishes Task Force in the aftermath of Gustav

Mr. Golding held a meeting this morning (Sept 1) at Jamaica House with all the critical agencies along with the Ministers of Agriculture, Water and Housing, National Security, Mining, Labour and Social Security and the Ministers of State for Project Implementation and Service Delivery and Planning and Development in the Office of the Prime Minister.

The task force will include representatives from the National Works Agency, the KSAC, the Ministry of Housing and Water and the National Land Agency.

Mr. Golding has requested an update from all the critical agencies in order to make a full report to Parliament tomorrow on the damages done as well as an update of the restoration work carried out so far.
