MAJOR BOOST OF VITAL DRUGS COMING ...PM GOLDING

TO SIGN PHARMACEUTICAL CONTRACTS WEDNESDAY:

More pharmaceutical items will be available for the public health system starting this month with the signing of some 44 contracts by Prime Minister Bruce Golding on Wednesday, April 21.

The contracts will be signed at a special ceremony at Jamaica House. The signing ceremony, the first of its kind, will allow for smooth purchasing arrangements of hundreds of pharmaceutical items that are on the Ministry of Health's vital, essential and necessary list.

The signing ceremony is being organized by the Ministry of Health and its supporting agencies.
