HORACE CLARKE SERVED HIS COUNTRY WITH DISTINCTION...PM Golding:

Prime Minister Bruce Golding has described Horace Clarke former PNP Minister of Public Utilities, Agriculture, Water and Transport,   Mining and Energy, as a dedicated Jamaican who served his country with distinction.

In addition to his years as a public servant, Mr. Golding said Horace Clarke   has left an indelible mark on the landscape of his country through his many business ventures, the latest of which was his contribution to Jamaica's tourism attractions in the resort of St Ann- Mystic Mountain.

‘Throughout his over 30 years in politics, Horace Clarke devoted much of his efforts towards improving rural life, and in particular that of the backbone of Jamaican society, the small farmer. His death on Saturday night (July 10), was another moment when a stalwart of public service passed and I express my condolences to his widow, children and family', Mr. Golding said.
