The 126th anniversary of his birth was commemorated at the National Heroes Park on Wednesday (February 24) Other floral tributes were made by Minister of Water and Housing, Dr. Horace Chang, Opposition Member of Parliament, Robert Pickersgill, Deputy Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew, Lee Clarke, Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce and General Secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party, Karl Samuda, President of the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union, Kavan Gayle, delegate of the Diplomatic Corps, Leonora Rueda and representative of the Bustamante Foundation, Evelyn Sangster-Barnes.
