PM Golding Visits Coronation Market - June 10, 2010


Prime Minister Bruce Golding (second left) listens as Kingston and St Andrew Parish Council market official, Michael Webb (far right), assures a vendor that help is on the way. 75% of the market was gutted and is now unusable following an arson attack more than a week ago.  Prime Minister Bruce Golding said that repair work must start on Monday and that assistance must be extended to vendors who lost stock. Guiding the Prime Minister and his party through a tour of the market was Mayor of Kingston, Desmond McKenzie (far left).
