EDUCATION MINISTRY RESCHEDULES GRADES THREE AND FOUR TESTS

KINGSTON, May 28 (JIS):

The Ministry of Education has made the decision to reschedule the Grade Three Diagnostic and Grade Four Literacy and Numeracy tests, as a result of the unrest in West Kingston.

The Grade Three Diagnostic Test is now to be held on Tuesday, June 15 and on Wednesday, June 16.  It was originally scheduled for June 1 and 2.

Below is the schedule for the Grade Three Diagnostic Test:

Tuesday, June 15

Morning Session                Language Arts

Afternoon Session             Communication Tasks

Wednesday, June 16

Morning Session                Mathematics

The Grade Four Literacy and Numeracy tests are now to be held on Tuesday, June 29.  They were originally planned for June 16.
