CASINO BOARD APPOINTED

Cabinet has endorsed the appointment of five members to the Casino Gaming Commission. This was announced by Minister with responsibility for Information, Daryl Vaz, during the Post Cabinet press briefing this morning at Jamaica House.

The members who were endorsed at the June 7 meeting of Cabinet are: insurance executive and horseracing enthusiast, Hon Dennis Lalor, digital printing businessman Mr. Mark Roberts; Attorneys-at-law Mr. Afeef Lazarus and Mr. Dennis Edmunds and Chartered Accountant and Deputy Chairman of Caymanas Track Ltd, Mr. Rafael Gordon.

 These members will serve until June 2012.
