The Most Hon. Sir Donald Burns Sangster (Feb 23, 1967 - April 11, 1967)

In 1964, Donald Sangster assumed the position of acting Prime Minister when Prime Minister Sir Alexander Bustamante became ill. He was officially appointed as Prime Minister on February 23, 1967 but only served for two months before he too became ill and died on April 11. Sir Donald Sangster was honoured by having the Donald Sangster International Airport named after him. His image also appears on the Jamaican one hundred dollar banknote.
